Mayor Lewis Thanks Dolton\'s Business Community for Their Support & Donations to the Annual 4th of July Celebration

This 4th of July the Dolton Park District was filled with music, fun, and entertainment for members of the Dolton community. The Village of Dolton and the Dolton Park District partnered to present their Annual 4th of July Community Celebration, an event that was made more successful by the support of local businesses.

Various business owners in the Village sent in donations to support the community celebration. Their donations cut the cost of the community celebration in half.

“We were very pleased by the outpouring of support from business owners here in Dolton,” said Dolton Mayor Ronnie C. Lewis. “On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Village, I sincerely thank the businesses of our community for their donations to our 4th of July Community Celebration. Their contributions helped us to offer a wonderful event for the members of the people of our community. They stepped up to give back, and we truly appreciate their support and generosity.”

In addition to publicly thanking the contributing companies publicly during the July 16th Board Meeting, the Village also mailed each of them individual thank-you letters and tax exemption receipts for their records.
