Garbage Pick Up

Homewood Disposal Service, Inc. handles the Village’s refuse and some yard waste collections. All debris should be put out front by the curb no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the day prior to your collection day or by 6:00 a.m. the day of collection. Please call 708-798-1004 if you have any questions relating to waste pick up. No dumping of debris in the alleys.

Call Homewood Disposal at 708-798-1004 or the water department at 708-201-3327, 708-201-3293 to find out what day your refuse pick up will be or if your green garbage container is missing. Dolton Public Works handles some branch and tree pickups.

Branch/Yard Waste Pick Up

Branches must be cut to lengths of 3 to 4 feet and placed at the curb. All yard waste must be put in biodegradable paper bags. No plastic bags containing yard waste will be picked up. Call Public Works at 201-3280 or 3281 for branch pickups. Homewood Disposal also picks up branches, if the branches are tied/bundled.

New Location For Recycling Your Old Electronics

Please be advised that the Village of Dolton’s Recycling Center on Greenwood Road has been CLOSED.

If you have items that need to be recycled and you are a Dolton resident, please contact the Public Works Department at (708) 201-3280 to make arrangements to drop off the items you’d like to recycle.
