The Village of Dolton has a need for(2) two full time property maintenance inspectors in our Building Department. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:00am to  4:00pm business hours.  Placement as a Property Maintenance Inspector will be dependent on applicant’s relevant qualifications and experience.  Property Inspectors performs inspections on residential and commercial properties for compliance to various property maintenance codes and Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements;

Possession of a valid Illinois Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record required.  Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of a Property Maintenance Inspector. Requires possession of a current ICC Certification as a Property Maintenance Inspector or capable of obtaining the certification within the first six months of employment.  Ability to interpret and apply Property Maintenance Codes; Communicate Effectively

(both oral and written); Work effectively without supervision; Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Local Dolton resident preferred, but will consider hiring outside of Dolton.
