Senior Snow Removal Program
The Village of Dolton Snow Removal program is an initiative created by Mayor Tiffany A. Henyard to assist our senior residents with snow removal during the late fall and winter months.
Eligibility
- Must be a senior citizen: age 65 or older, living in the Village of Dolton.
- Apartment buildings are not eligible
- There cannot be an able bodied person living in the home capable of shoveling snow.
Registration
Eligible residents can register online on our website www.vodolton.org, call 708-297-6859.
How it works
On days where snow fall is 3 inches or more our snow removal team will plow eligible residents driveway and sidewalks leading to front door in the assigned zones. You will receive a text message and a robocall informing you that snow will be removed from your home on the day it is scheduled. FOR HEAVY SNOW DAYS OR DAYS WHERE SNOWFALL IS ABOVE 5 INCHES OUR TEAM MAY TAKE LONGER TO REACH YOUR HOME. Please plan ahead for delays. YOU MUST DISPLAY THE WINDOW SIGN GIVEN TO YOU AFTER APPROVAL IN YOUR FRONT WINDOW FOR TEAMS TO IDENTIFY YOUR HOME. CANNOT SHARE YOUR WINDOW SIGN WITH NEIGHBORS OR FAMILY MEMBERS. VIOLATORS WILL AUTOMATICALLY REMOVED FROM PROGRAM.
Deadline to register is December 5, 2022.

Senior Roof and Window Replacement Application
Mayor Tiffany Henyard’s Senior Roof and Window Replacement Program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. The Village of Dolton has designated $500,000 dollars to assist our senior and veteran population who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to be eligible you must meet the following criteria:
– You must be a Dolton resident age 65 and older or veteran of the United States Armed Services (must provide valid ID with a Dolton address or DD214 to qualify).
– You must a registered homeowner. You cannot be a renter.(homeowner must occupy property)
– Windows replacements must be meet standard requirements (no custom orders. this includes bay windows)
– Roof replacement includes shingles and plywood replacements. (no major or internal repairs)
All repairs are completed through a Village of Dolton licensed vendor pool. Approved applicants will be contacted between 30 and 60 days after application has been completed to schedule an assessment. Completion of application does not guarantee approval. The Village of Dolton reserves the right to reject any application for any reason without cause.

Small Business Grant Application
Mayor Tiffany Henyard’s Small Business Grant Program, sponsored by the Village of Dolton, is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. The Village of Dolton has designated $500,000 dollars to assist our small businesses who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Awardees will be granted $5000.00 for eligible business expenses.
In order to be eligible you must meet the following criteria:
– You must be a brick and mortar business located in the Village of Dolton.
– Your business annual 2021 revenue cannot exceed $250,000. (must provide bank statements for the calendar year 2021 along with profit and loss statement)
– Business cannot have any outstanding debt with the Village of Dolton (this includes water utility bills or code enforcement violations, police fines or liens)
– You must have a valid business license (for alcohol and gaming you must have a valid liquor license)
– Eligible expenses include facility upgrades and repair, equipment, payroll and utility bills
Applications Deadline: TBH
